Family Visit

VisitErik's parents arrived on late last week and we were able to do a bunch of stuff with them. On Friday, we had dinner at...Social Kitchen. I tried their chicken ceasar salad this time. The dressing wasn't that great but the chicken was so good - perfectly grilled & juicy!
On Saturday, we went out to Livermore. Erik's cousin was in town for work, so we were able to pick him up and have him join us. We went out to the winery where we are getting married and also tried a restaurant as a possible rehearsal dinner spot - Zephyr Grill & Bar. Everyone enjoyed their meals and it has a nice atmosphere so we decided to hold the rehearsal here!

On Sunday, we headed out to our fave spot - Radish, for brunch. Great food. It was also Sunday Streets in the Mission which means that the city closes down streets for people bike ride, walk, skateboard, and enjoy being out & about. There were also a lot of local vendors and tents to check out. It was HOT out on Sunday - probably 80 degrees, so a ton of people were out.

We also checked out some murals.


Erik and his parents headed to Sausalito while I did some errands and then I met them up there for dinner. We went to Horizons, right on the water. It was so warm & sunny. We were able to sit outside on the deck and it was great.

Erik was lucky enough to take Monday off & they all went up to Muir Woods. He also made us all homemade chicken soup for dinner which was delish! We look forward to seeing everyone again at Thanksgiving in a few weeks!!
