Fire Dept

This past week, the main fire alarm on the 2nd floor keeps going off. It is one of those old school ones that rings. It needs to be reset or something. The first time it went off, the FD came right away. The 2nd time, it went off by itself. Tonight was the 3rd time. After 5 minutes, I called SFPD non-emergency line & she sent the FD over.

When I say the fire department came, I mean the entire fleet or whatever they are called. 2 fire trucks. 10 men. Full uniform, hoses, axes, tanks of something, etc.

A few of the tenants were outside & I said, 'I should get the camera. This is exciting'. But, I didn't. I felt bad everyone came out to put out some blaze but at least all it was, was an alarm.

Hairspray was....

...AMAZING, as usual. We had great seats. Orchestra, Row O. I love love love the musical and the songs. In my next life, I WILL be Tracy Turnblad on Broadway.

It will take all of my might to see a different show in NYC other than Hairspray when I am there next month!

Tonight I am going to see....

HAIRSPRAY. This will be my 3rd time seeing it on stage but I love it!!

Asia de Cuba

Erik and I did something fun last night. We had a really great & expensive dinner for FREE! My company is pitching for new business and they wanted people to go check out the restaurants around the country and report back. Since we are in SF, they asked me! We went to Asia de Cuba which is an asian fusion restaurant this is expensive. They require an $80/pp minimum at dinner on Thurs-Sat.

The portions are HUGE though. We had lobster potstickers, scallops, and butterfish. Then, we had a HUGE dessert called 'Bay of Pigs' which was a gigantic banana split.

Yesterday, it was HOT out here - at least 80 degrees for us. We went out for drinks with our Client who is leaving Clorox. We love her and are sad she is going.
