On Thursday, I flew home from Ohio and was able to go home rather than go into the office. I cleaned, got organized, and picked Evie up early.
For dinner, I picked Erik up at work and we went to a restaurant near his office. We had dinner at Hillstone which is right on the Embarcadero. It was so nice to go out to dinner after work. We are never able to do that because someone always has to go home and take care of Evie before we go out anywhere.
For dinner, we shared the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. Then, I had the #1 Ahi Tuna Burger pan-seared ahi tuna with iceberg lettuce, red onion, tomato on a house-made bun and Erik had the House-Made Veggie Burger brown rice, black beans and oat bran recipe with sweet soy and melted jack.
Everything was so good. This is a great restaurant because it has a little bit of everything - salads, soups, burgers, and seafood. It was a great way to come back home and enjoy being together again!
