PLEASE add: "it is what it is." We were in trial this week, and I must have heard it one hundred times. I am now convinced that it is what people say when they have NO idea what "it" is.
"Get our ducks in a row" also belongs on the list. Unless your business is aiding baby ducks trying to cross the street behind their mama, there is NO reason to say that. Ed says it all the time and it drives me n-u-t-s.
