Lt. Col Strobl is a Marine who no longer fights in combat. Handling internal meetings and presentations, he feels compelled to be more involved in the Marines again.He volunteers to accompany the body of a 19 year old Marine who was killed. He flew with his body to Wyoming, meets his family & friends, and sees how the people around him react to his voluntary role.
This film is based on actual events and is an HBO movie. It was sad but also interesting to see how respectful the military is of bringing a soliders body home and how people react to hearing or seeing this in action.
