It was a really silly movie. There is this underworld where these crazy looking alien things live. They are coming up to Earth and ravaging our cities. To combat them, we created our own huge, machine things that can battle the aliens.
Lots of fire, fighting, destruction....with a mix of a love connection and saving the world.
Oh well, spending time together is what counts. :-)
