Erik and I watched, "The Lovely Bones" last night. We did not like it. It is a sad story about a girl who is killed by her neighbor, who is a serial killer and has about six other young girl deaths under his belt.The family is torn apart as the Father spends the next year trying to figure out who the killer is.
The film flips back and forth from the story to showing the girl in the 'in-between' as she tries to give clues to her family about finding her killer.
We thought it would be scarier than it was. I didn't like the flipping back & forth. I thought the film dragged on. I give this movie a C. It was just OK. Since it was a book, I'm going to be the book was better.

The book was amazing when I read it a few years ago. I would definitely check that out. Although I don't remember it too well, I don't think it was scary, so I guess I'm not surprised the movie wasn't.
